Growing up in today’s world can be challenging because the guidelines for girls are somewhat murky. Social change is now infinitely harder to keep up with.  There are ever more ways to commit a faux pas. In business, women and men are expected to be treated the same, but at home some girls are still taught that “boys stand and girls stay seated” when being introduced to others. They are also taught that there are “girl handshakes and boy handshakes” and the list goes on. I hope to dispel the confusion and get parents united.

Times have changed. Your daughters will one day be running a bank, be active in politics, be the CEO of a FTSE 100 company or may even work in the care profession. Whatever job she chooses, it is imperative to give her the social tools she needs to help her along the way.

During this three hour course at Vivaldi Catering, your daughter will most of all have FUN, but she will also learn about the following:

SOCIAL GRACES - deportment, manners, friend management, art of giving

IMAGE MANAGEMENT - basic principles, wardrobe rules, make up, formal dress code

FOOD & DRINK - table manners, table settings, alcohol behaviour

DAY TO NIGHT - Paying your way, salons and spas, paying the bill, club culture, elegant drinking

SPECIAL OCCASIONS  - On a yacht, on a private jet, perfect picnics, meeting celebrities

MAN MANAGEMENT! - first moves, on holiday, meeting the parents

AT HOME - Perfect hostess, drinks and dinner parties, house guests, flatmates

FACE TO FACE - Tools of conversation

THE WRITTEN WORD - Invitations, thank yous, written communications, emails

GETTING AHEAD - Office politics

We will make cakes and biscuits, we will take tea using silver cutlery and the finest bone china!
