Georgie Revill, the proprietor and owner of The Cook Shack has many years of experience in catering, having attended an extensive array of courses all over the world. She also spent 35 years in the corporate world in various countries. She has a particular passion for using local produce, feeling the importance and health benefits of keeping the food mileage low. Georgie operated and ran a ski chalet in the Alpes and also was the licencee & manager of a hotel in Douglas, Isle of Man. She lived in the Caribbean for over 10 years where she met and married her husband, and in Vancouver Island for six where their children were born and raised. She particularly enjoys travelling and returning with specialised food items, many of which she incorporates within her courses. She's delighted to have been awarded the Special Recognition Award from DEFA in 2019 for her constant promotion of local produces and businesses. Georgie is also on the Board of Directors of Manx Mencap a local charity for those with learning disabilities.
Molly has been a Professional Freelance Chef for over twenty years. Before that her work on Cruise ships and as an Administrator meant that she traveled extensively. She has a strong background in accountancy and this combination of skills has enabled her to adapt well to a variety of clients and countries. She has a passion and curiosity for food which grows each year.
She is a qualified Chef having a Diploma from Ashburton Cookery School where she passed with a Distinction. She attends cookery courses on a regular basis so to keep up to date with new trends and to expand my knowledge. She enjoys the company of other Chefs and working in Restaurants or with food producers who inspire her.
