I was invited to a local nursery to introduce some three year olds to breadmaking. I could not believe how enthused they were. Look at the concentration on their faces. AND what is more, many of them knew that bread was made from wheat! Thank you Jade for the invitation, lovely afternoon.

Here am I at 13,000ft (4000m) on Mt. Toubkal, Morocco, the highest mountain in North Africa....all for a good cause, RIFCOM, a non-profit charitable organisation run by volunteers from Gibraltar and Spain who are committed to making a real difference to their neighbouring communities in the Rif Mountains of Morocco, living within their sight and yet living in poverty. Incredible experience.

Beautiful pastries, so colourful in the Souk in Marrakech. I have been there six times now, think it is definitely an annual pilgrimage. The Berber people of the High Atlas are such a welcoming tribe - always saying you are welcome in their country and they say it from their heart. Did you know that the wonderful Argan Oil is endemic to Southwestern Morocco used for both its nutritive and cosmetic properties. October 2013
A beautiful wedding in the north of the Island in June 2014 and I was kindly asked to make 150 macarons, 48 brioche, 10 soda breads, 5 pumpernickel breads, large plaited loaf, 30 sundried tomato and black olive scones, oat cakes, flat breads, etc. It was such fun, a stunning bride, incredible weather, perfect venue.
